ADAM CHRISTOPHER CARR

Adam Christopher Carr, age 24, of Cambridge, MD, died Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at his home.

Born on March 27, 1987 in Westminster, MD, he was the son of Justine Jones of Cambridge, MD.

Adam attended schools in Hanover, PA. He attended the University of Pittsburgh as an engineering student and also Salisbury University.

Adam worked at the Bistro Poplar restaurant as a poissonnier and garde manager.

Surviving besides his mother Justine Jones of Cambridge are two sisters Ana Carr of Baltimore, MD; Jennifer Atwell and her husband Jared of Frederick MD; maternal grandfather Fred Kegel of Hanover, PA. Adam was predeceased by his maternal grandmother Janet Louise Kele and stepfather Robert E Jones Jr.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, December 23rd at the Newcomb and Collins Funeral Home, P.A. (formerly Curran-Bromwell) where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Officiating at the service will be Steve Bloodsworth.

In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made in Adam’s memory to the charity of one’s choice.
