ANNABELLE G. FRAZIER
Annabelle Gray Frazier, age 83, died Sunday morning, June 22, 2008 at Mallard Bay Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Cambridge, MD.
Born on April 3, 1925 at Elliotts Island, MD, she was the daughter of the late Rannie and Mildred Gray. She was a graduate of Vienna High School.
In her younger years, she worked in her father’s family business Gray’s Market located on Elliotts Island. The market later moved to Cambridge at Race and Cedar Streets and she continued to work at that location. During World War II, she moved to Baltimore, MD and worked at Martin Marietta.
On October 10, 1946 she married Donald Joseph Frazier. Mr. Frazier died on November 9, 1980.
After the war, she returned to Cambridge and had worked at Airpax and managed various convenience quick shops in the Cambridge area.
Mrs. Frazier was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and the Dr. Hines Bible Class.
Surviving are two children Carol Pritchett of Church Creek, MD and Alan Frazier and his wife Heidi of East New Market, MD; four brothers Wylie Gray and his wife Sue of Cambridge, MD, Larry Gray and his wife Pat of Salisbury, MD, George Gray and his wife Dottie of Cambridge, MD, Douglas Gray and his wife Sharon of Mobile, Alabama; a sister Martha Brooks of Cambridge, MD; three grandchildren Gibby Windsor, Thomas Frazier, Patrick Frazier; three great-grandchildren Elliott Windsor, Michael Frazier and Emily Frazier and three sisters-in-law Faye Gray, Shirley Gray and Diane Gray.
Preceding her in death besides her parents and husband were four brothers Kermit Gray, Glen Gray, Gene Gray, Wendell Gray; and a brother-in-law Eugene Brooks.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 25th at 1:00 p.m. at Curran-Bromwell Funeral Home, P.A., where the family will receive friends one hour to the service. Officiating at the service will be The Rev. Douglas Ridley. Burial will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Gibby Windsor, Douglas Gray, Larry Gray, George Gray, Mike Hunteman and Eddie Hunteman.
