Arthur "Art" Eugene Armel

Arthur "Art" Eugene Armel, born on November 23, 1932, in Fayette, Pennsylvania, left us peacefully on January 30, 2025, in Easton, Maryland. His remarkable journey through life was characterized by warmth, dedication, and an unwavering love for his family.

Art devoted many years of service to General Motors, where he exemplified hard work and commitment. Yet, while his career was significant, it was the moments spent with his loved ones that truly defined him. He was an avid hunter, finding immense joy in pursuing deer and wild hogs. Many cherished memories were created out on the water, where Art would set sail on his boat, aptly named the "Bad Boy," casting lines and sharing stories with family and friends.

Family held a special place in Art's heart. He is survived by his beloved wife, Judith Ann Armel, and his daughter, Gwen Armel. The love that blossomed through the years extended to his bonus children, Deborah Reigle and Roger Reigle, as well as his two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, who will continue to carry forward his spirit.

Art also cherished his siblings, including Dale Armel, Fayme Balaban, Brenda Thompson, Lealia Boyer and Glen Armel. Each shared in the joys and challenges of life, creating a bond that would serve as an unbreakable foundation for the family.

In addition to his family, Art was embraced by a close-knit group of friends known as his Lucky 7 Hunting Club Family, who will fondly remember the laughter and adventures they shared with him. Art's legacy of love, kindness, and zest for life will remain alive in the hearts of all who knew him.

As we bid farewell to a remarkable man, let us hold onto the memories he created and celebrate the rich tapestry of life he leaves behind. Arthur "Art" Eugene Armel will be missed dearly but never forgotten.
