Bonnie Faye Harrison

Bonnie Faye Harrison was born in Virginia on September 23, 1947. She loved to travel and spend time with family. Bonnie was staying with her daughter Kim in Galestown, MD, when she embarked on her final journey on Friday, May 19. As a final gift, she was able to give her organs and finally passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

Bonnie was preceded in death by Edward Harrison, her beloved husband whom she married on September 3, 1966. Together, they embraced the world, traveling with their family and embracing life to the fullest. They raised three daughters in Trappe, MD, before moving to Easton, MD, Tilghman Island, MD, and Preston, MD. Bonnie's spirit of adventure led her to live her final year in St Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, with her daughter Kellie.

She was very proud of the lives her children and grandchildren have chosen to pursue. She taught them not to judge people, to treat everyone the same and be kind, to find the best in everyone, to give to others, to work hard, and to dream big. Bonnie loved to laugh and enjoyed an ice cream treat on her fun-filled outings with her friend Sharon.

She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Harrison, Tiffany Harrison, and Kellie Knopp; her grandchildren, Haley Howerton, Harrison Knopp, Bennett Knopp, and Caine Knopp; and lifelong friends, Sharon Nelson Marshall and many others.

As Bonnie requested, she did not want a large funeral. Instead, we will be hosting a celebration of her life at the Elks Lodge, located at 5464 Elks Lodge Rd. in Cambridge, MD. The event will take place from 6pm to 9pm on Thursday, May 23, 2024. In lieu of flowers, please consider sending donations to the Trappe Lions Club, P.O. Box 427, Trappe, MD 21673.
