Bonnie Marshall

Bonnie B. Marshall, 72, of Cambridge, passed away Friday, January 18, 2013 at her home.
Born in Crisfield, MD on June 8, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Leroy and Irene Jackson Sterling.
Bonnie moved to Baltimore with her family and attended local schools. She graduated from Eastern High School with the class of 1958.
On June 16, 1960 Bonnie and Maurice Marshall were united in marriage in Baltimore where they made their home and together raised two daughters. The family moved to the Eastern Shore in 1973 and Mr. Marshall died June 10, 1994.
She was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, a lifetime member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Post #91, Dorchester General Hospital Auxiliary, VFW Ladies Auxiliary #7460 and past treasure of the American Heart Association.
Bonnie enjoyed reading, crocheting and working with crafts. She loved to play games especially with her grandchildren and also enjoyed playing cards with her friends. Bonnie was a Ravens fan but especially loved the Orioles.
Surviving Bonnie are her two daughters Tammy Krach and husband William of Bel Air, MD and Lisa Cannon and husband Brian of Cambridge; three grandchildren Alexandra Krach, Christine Krach and Kayla Cannon; a sister Jean Wetterau and husband John of Ellicott City, MD; niece Melissa Miller; nephew Ryan Myers; special friends Kathy Potter, Meg Kinnamon and Ernie Bloodsworth.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 25, 2013, beginning 12:30 p.m. at the Newcomb and Collins Funeral Home, P.A., Cambridge. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Officiating will be Rev Fred Bahr. Interment will follow at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery, Hurlock, MD.
Serving as pallbearers will be Eugene (Oogie) Travers, Brandon Bradley, Tony Meredith, Bill Jones, Barry Miller, Ryan Myers, Marty Jones and Steve Hildenbrand.
Honorary pallbearers will be Curtis Bloodsworth, Brian Cannon, William Krach and John Wetterau.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Bonnie may be sent to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 163, Salisbury, MD 21803.
