Bonnie W. McCall, 85, of Linkwood, Maryland passed away on Tuesday evening April 5, 2022 at her home with her family by her side.

Born on April 26, 1936 in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late James T. and Elizabeth Lord Wootten.

Bonnie attended the local schools and graduated from Cambridge High School with the class of 1954.

She married the love of her life Gilbert McCall, Sr. on March 7, 1955 and together raised 4 children.  Gibby passed away on September 2, 1997.

Bonnie was employed with Rob Roy Shirt Factory in Cambridge for 18 years.  She made many life-long friends throughout her time of employment.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed mystery novels.   She also enjoyed crocheting, crewel embroidery, traveling, watching westerns and spending time with her family.  Her two cats “Pywacket” and “Ellie” and her dog “Tripp” held a special place in her heart.  Bonnie will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her.

Surviving Bonnie are her children Jacquelyn “Jackie” McCall of Linkwood, Elizabeth “Betsy” Eberspacher (Mark) of East New Market, Kelly Beall of Cambridge and Gilbert “Bill” McCall, Jr. (Cheryl) of Linkwood; grandchildren Andrew Groton (Marcia), Tyler Beall (Sandy), Alison Groton Tejeda (Sal), Thomas Beall (Kelsey), David Eberspacher and Aaron McCall; great grandchildren William Tejeda, Nicholas Tejeda, Evan Groton and Ava Groton; cousins Robert Davis and Kenneth Lord.

Preceded in her death besides her parents and husband was a cousin Steve Davis.

A memorial funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 beginning 12:00 noon at the Maryland Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery Chapel, Hurlock, MD with Rev. David J. Wooten, Jr officiating.

Arrangements entrusted to Newcomb and Collins Funeral Home, Cambridge.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Bonnie’s name can be sent to Coastal Hospice Foundation, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802.
