Bonnie Rockwell

Bonnie Sue Rockwell of Linkwood passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Chesapeake Woods. She was 55.
She was born on September 25, 1960 in Dorchester County, Maryland the daughter of the late James C Newcomb, Sr. and Mary R. Mills Newcomb.
She worked at Airpax and Coldwater Seafood and later worked as a cashier at Food Lion in Cambridge.
She was married to Robert Rockwell on July 4, 2009. She enjoyed bowling, playing bingo and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Rockwell of Linkwood, one son, James Lednum of Salisbury, three brothers, James C Newcomb, Jr. and his wife Joyce of Cambridge, Ronnie Newcomb and his wife Gail of East New Market, and Gary Newcomb and his wife Emily of East New Market, three grandchildren, Airrianna Lednum, Nicholas Lednum and Michael Ellis and her special friends Joan Brooks and Cindy Travers and her beloved dog, Bear.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Brenda Reed and Cathy Newcomb.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday February 13, 2016 at 1:00p.m. at Newcomb and Collins Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. Charles Greene officiating. Interment will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00.
