B. Diane Wise, 71, of Cambridge, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, in Easton, MD. Born on March 18, 1953, in Alexandria, VA, Diane lived a life marked by an enormous heart, wonderful sense of humor and devotion to her family.
Diane grew up in Alexandria and Herndon, VA where she made lifelong friends and put on “plays” for the neighborhood. She and her sister, Linda, were blessed with a wonderful childhood, friends, family and memories. The sisters remained extremely close through adulthood raising their daughters together until Diane moved to Glen Burnie, MD in 1982 where she worked for Ace Relocation Systemsup until her passing. At Ace she impacted countless drivers and office personnel with her quick wit, sense of humor, compassion and candor. It was also at Ace where she met the love of her life, Joe Wise, whom she married in 1999.
Together, Diane and Joe enjoyed cruising to Alaska, and multiple tropical locales. They also traveled across the United States before settling down in Annapolis MD. A dedicated member of Trinity Church in Annapolis, Diane found great solace in her faith throughout her 7 year battle with Multiple Myeloma.
Diane was an avid reader who enjoyed travel, but above everything else, she delighted in spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren Brendan, Domanyc and Skylar. Diane is survived by her husband Joe Wise, daughter Patricia Mills (Scott), grandchildren Anna Marie Holland (Ryan), Joey Holland (Amy), three great grandchildren and her sister Linda Carol Wilmer.
In addition to her parents, Al and Minnie Todd, Diane is preceded in death by her daughter Carri Ann Thompson and grandson Steven Holland.
Diane’s kindness, humor and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her and had the pleasure of calling her Sister, Wife, Mom, MomMom, DineDean, and friend.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 17, 2024 at 1 p.m., at Trinity Church, 1300 West St. Annapolis, MD. Repass will follow.
