Candy Mears

Candy Robin Mears, 57, of Griffiths Neck, Cambridge, Maryland passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional, Salisbury.

Born on July 9, 1964 in Seaford, Delaware, she was the daughter of the late Herman Albert Passwaters and Rose Irene Culver.

Candy attended the local schools and graduated from Seaford High School with the class of 1982.

She was employed with Dart Inc. in Federalsburg, MD as one of their lead packers.

Candy enjoyed shopping, fishing with the love of her life Robert, playing board games with her family, cooking on the grill, swimming at the pool and watching soap operas.  Candy will truly be missed by her family and all who knew her.

She is survived by her son Timothy S. Mears (Shelby Nicole Helm) of Hurlock, MD,; granddaughter Madeline Mears; a sister Bonnie Hearn (Billy); her companion of 13 years, Robert Lawson; cousin Holly Timmons along with numerous other cousins; special friends Wayne Lawson, Steve Lawson, Sandra Balcerak, Linda Pearson, Dustin and Robert Lawson, Jr.; her Jack-Russell named “Man” and numerous friends.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements entrusted to Newcomb and Collins Funeral Home, Cambridge.
