Christina Woodland Seaman, 61, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at her home in Cambridge.
Born November 30, 1952 in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Lois "Spark" and Mary Quinn Woodland. She grew up in Crocheron and graduated from South Dorchester High School with the class of 1970.
For all of her adult life she was a vital part of the family business, Dorchester Crab Company. As a lifetime resident of Dorchester County, she was also an active member of the South Dorchester Jaycee's, the National Outdoor Show and the South Dorchester Fishing Tournament.
She was a longtime member of the Countryside Christian Church and secretary of the Countryside Christian School for 20 years.
Surviving is her husband Larry; an only son Zachary and his wife Kaylee; two granddaughters Zaylee and Kinzlee.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 7, 2014 beginning 1:00 p.m. at Countryside Christian Church, Cambridge. The family will receive friends the hour prior to the service. Evangelist John McArthur will officiate.
Interment will take place immediately after the service at Dorchester Memorial Park. Following the interment a time of fellowship with friends and family celebrating Christina's life will be held at the Countryside Christian Church.
Serving as pallbearers will be Glenn Ruark, Hanks Henry, Kenny Barwick, Tim Oakes, Frankie Sawicki and Buddy Oberender.
Honorary pallbearers will be George Wroten, Robert Hazeltine and Eddie Bramble.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Christina can be made to Countryside Christian Church, 5333 Austin Road, Cambridge, Md 21613.
