Deborah Frances Fishpaw

Deborah F. “Debbie” Fishpaw, 57, of Cambridge, Maryland passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024 at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore.

Born on November 22, 1966 in Cambridge, Maryland, she was the daughter of Shirley Hughes Wickwire and the late David Lee Wickwire, Sr.

Debbie attended school in Dorchester County and graduated from Cambridge South Dorchester High School with the class of 1986.

On June 30, 2012 she married Ward Evan Fishpaw and together they made their home in Cambridge.

Debbie was most recently employed with LWRC International, LLC working in materials management.

Going on camping trips and spending time with her grandchildren were the highlights of her life. She also enjoyed taking her dogs Ollie and Harvey for walks with her cat Winnie following behind.  Debbie enjoyed socializing with her friends, whether it was at a camp site or her monthly breakfast, and loved life. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Ward; her mother Shirley; daughter Stephanie Marie Windsor (James); son Richard Olin Elzey, Jr. (Tiffany); brother David Lee Wickwire, Jr.; grandchildren Evelyn McKenzie Windsor, Payton Olivia Elzey and James Willis Windsor, Jr; good friends Ed and Sabrina Schanken and Annie Hall.

Preceding her in death was her father David Lee Wickwire, Sr.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Portside Seafood Restaurant, 201 Trenton St., Cambridge, MD beginning 6 p.m.
