Dolores Pritchett

Dolores Emily Pink Pritchett, age 91 of Cambridge, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023, in Berlin, MD. She was born in Cambridge on September 17, 1931 and was the daughter of the late Irwin F. and Doris May Bradshaw Pink.

Dolores attended schools in Cambridge and graduated from Cambridge High School in 1948.

On November 5, 1953, she married Norval Pritchett Sr., and together they had two children Doris and Norval Jr.

Dolores worked briefly for the family company Cambridge Wire Cloth before becoming a homemaker and raising their children.

She is survived by her granddaughter Amanda Hailey and husband Jack; great-grandchildren Colton and Emma Hailey; brother Edward Pink; niece Carol Whirley (Chuck) and nephews Irwin Pink(Tiffany), James Pink(Esperanza), Jerry Pink(Penny) and John Pink.

Dolores is preceded in death by her husband Norval Pritchett, Sr., her daughter Doris Pritchett, her son Norval Pritchett, Jr., a brother Wallace Pink, parents Irwin and Doris Pink, two special  sisters -in- law, Betty Dobson and Ann Pink and nephew Brian Pink.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at 12 PM at Newcomb and Collins Funeral Home, Cambridge. Visitation will begin one hour prior at 11 AM. Officiating will be Rev. George Wheatley, Jr. Burial will follow at the Dorchester Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Edward Pink, Irwin Pink, Jack Hailey, Jerry Pink, Jim Adkins, and John Pink. Honorary pallbearer will be Jim Pink.
