Doris Phillips Palmer

Doris P. Palmer of Cambridge, MD passed away at home surrounded by family on Friday, February 25, 2022 at the age of 94.

Born January 4, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Tressie Phillips.

Doris is preceded in death by her parents; 3 siblings - Alfred Phillips, Frances Jennings and Sarah Burton; as well as her husband Frederick Palmer.

She is survived by her 4 children; Tommy (Terri) Palmer of Cambridge, MD.; Faye (Wes) Haddaway of Nashville, TN.; Debi (Tim) Case of Easton, MD and Donna (Jim) Moore of Fairplay, MD.  She has 9 grandchildren; Brian Skipper, Trisha Savage, John Kerr, Jessica (Dusty) Collison, David (Hannah) Case, Valerie (Jake) Reid, Rachel (James) Dethmers, Allyson (Larry) Jones and Ryan Moore; and 15 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022 at Newcomb and Collins Funeral Home, P.A., 308 High, St., Cambridge beginning 12:00 noon.  Officiating will be David Case and Pastor Jake Reid.  A viewing and visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to12 p.m.  Burial will follow the service in Dorchester Memorial Park.
