DOROTHY R. TRICE
Dorothy Roslyn Trice, 82 of age, of Trappe, MD, died Monday morning, September 10, 2007 at The Pines, Easton, MD.
Born on October 28, 1924 in Duquesne, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Baker and Dora Oliarnick Baker.
In June of 1945 she married Walter F. Trice, Sr. He died on April 21, 1990.
While she and her husband lived in Alexandria, VA, she worked as a bridal consultant in Washington, DC.
Mrs. Trice had also assisted her husband in his business as a wholesale distributor in Bladensburg, MD.
Upon residing in Cambridge, Mrs. Trice managed Raubs Shoe Store in Easton, MD.
Mrs. Trice was a communicant of St. Mary, Refuge of Sinners Catholic Church, Cambridge, MD.
Mrs. Trice enjoyed working in the yard and flower gardening.
Surviving is her son Walter F. Trice, Jr. and his wife Becky Lowe-Trice of Trappe, MD, a sister Madeline Prislac of Simi, CA, three grandchildren Jennifer Trice of Washington, DC, Adam Trice of Catonsville, MD and Alex Trice of Charleston, SC, a step-grandson Billy Joe Lowe of Cambridge, MD, two step-great-grandchildren Rebecca and Brooke Lowe of Cambridge, MD.
Preceding her in death besides her parents and spouse were five sisters Roseline Baker, Catherine Thomas, Anna Hart, Mary Kollar and four brothers Elmer Baker, Stephen Baker, Joseph Baker and John Baker.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 13th at 1:00 p.m. where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Curran-Bromwell Funeral Home, P.A. Officiating at the service will be The Rev. J. Edward King, Pastor of Souls Harbor Church of God, Cambridge, MD. Burial will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park, Cambridge, MD.
