Earl F. Heyer
Earl F. Heyer, age 87 of Cambridge, passed away peacefully Monday, August 1, 2011 with caregiver Rhonda by is side at home.
Born on July 22, 1924 to Fredrick and Kathryn Heyer in Seattle, Washington along with an older brother Melvin.
He graduated from West Seattle High School in 1942 then joined the U.S. Navy. After being honorably discharged, he returned home and moved to Baltimore MD were he was became employed with AT&T. For nearly forty years he worked for AT&T mainly in the Cambridge location where he had met his future wife Mary in the Cambridge office.
Earl and Mary enjoyed going out on their boat, fishing and golfing until Mary’s passing in 2004. Earl remained golfing and reading as long as he could.
Surviving is a grandson Scott Inskeep and wife Susie; granddaughter Kelly Smith and husband Brian; two great granddaughters Iris and Molly; a grandson Connor; niece Sandra Wray and husband Michael; a great niece and great nephew, two great-great nieces and one great-great nephew.
Preceding Earl in death besides his parents and wife was a daughter Chris Inskeep; a stepson Rusty Mahler; a brother Melvin Heyer; and sister-in-law Lorraine Heyer.
There will be no services per his request. He will be inurned in the Columbarium at Greenlawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
