Frances Arnaboldi

Frances Veach Arnaboldi, 100, of Cambridge passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at the Mallard Bay Care Center, Cambridge.
Frances was born on Hoopers Island October 31, 1913, the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Veach and Emma Simmons Veach. She attended schools in Dorchester County and graduated with the Class of 1932. Soon afterwards she began working for the J.M. Clayton Co. She later met and married Dr. Allen Arnaboldi and moved to Medina, New York where she was active in his Veterinary practice. Frances always had a special love for horses. Dr. Arnaboldi passed away in 1978. Upon returning to Cambridge, she worked for the Veach Insurance Agency, Harrington and Mullaney, and the Quality Inn.
Frances recently celebrated her 100th birthday. Family, friends and the staff of Mallard Bay Care Center joined her on Halloween with a surprise party in her honor.
She is survived by a niece Patricia Potter Foxwell of Cambridge and a nephew D. Frank Potter of Annapolis. Also surviving are 3 great nieces, Patti C. Smith of Baldwin, MD, Bonnie Rhodes of Manassis, Va., Beth Potter of Germany; 4 great nephews, Dr. Mickey Foxwell of Cambridge, Larry Foxwell of Secretary, Bob Potter of Summersville, S.C., Rick Potter of Manassas, Va. and several great great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sisiter Mrs. Pauline Veach Lloyd of Cambridge.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2013 beginning 1 p.m. at Dorchester Memorial Park, Cambridge. The family will receive friends at the cemetery the hour prior. Officiating the service will be Pastor Steve Trice.
Serving as pallbearers will be family members.
