Jacqueline “Jackie” M. Long, 83, of Hoopers Island formerly of Greensboro passed away Friday morning, August 2, 2024 at the home of her daughter and son-in–law which became her home a few months ago.

She was born in Baltimore, Maryland on February 1, 1941 to the late George Albert Paulman, Sr. and Alice Unitas Paulman. 

Jackie was a devoted catholic and attended St. Benedicts Catholic Church in Ridgely MD until her health no longer allowed her to venture out. She was employed with Westinghouse/Medo Air Freshner Company as an assembler until she retired sometime in the early 1990’s.

She loved living on the Eastern Shore and enjoyed watching the boats go by and found great peace just looking at the water. Jackie loved her family and enjoyed visits from her grandchildren. She loved animals and her favorite food was rockfish. Jackie will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Surviving Jackie is her daughter Barbara M. Nolet and her husband Jean Pierre of Hoopers Island; grandchildren Britney M. Morral, Frank L. Morral, Jr., Allison E. Butz and Desirea A. Nolet; great- grandchildren Lilly B. Morral-Ford, LeAnne C. Morral-Ford, Charlotte D. Towers, Mason R. Butz and Paisley G. Reinthaler; siblings Patricia Ann Hill, Kendra Louise Paulman, Christine Lee Schmidt, Micky Paulman, Joseph Paulman, Michaeline McGee, Frances Bass, Martina Hernandez and Bernadette Tregoe; several nieces and nephews and many friends.

A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday,  August 17, 2024 at Newcomb and Collins Funeral Home in Cambridge beginning 2:00pm. Officiating at the service will be Pastor Ken Dasher.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jackie’s name can be sent to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
