Jeannine D. Freeman, 81, of Hurlock passed away Sunday evening, August 10, 2014 at Chesapeake Woods Center, Cambridge.
Born in Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Jeannette Wroten Mears and Don Mears.
For most of her working career Jeannine was involved in real estate. She retired as a property manager, a position she had held for over twenty years. She was a kind person and most people knew her for her caring heart.
She is survived by her six children Juanita D. Rutters, Cheryl L. Malcom, Kenneth W. Decker, Johnnie Decker, James V. Decker and Michele Reyes; sister Ava Asplen; fourteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, with two more on the way, and a special friend, with whom she had a special bond, Colein Gumpman.
Preceding her in death besides her parents was a daughter Donna Insley.
At Jeannine's request, services will be private.
