Joe Ammons

Joe Ammons, 91, of Crapo passed away on March 6, 2023 at his home.

Born May 20, 1931 in South Carolina, Joe was the son of the late Rubenell and Joe Ammons.

On August 24, 1973 Joe married the former Genevieve June Haddaway of Baltimore. They moved to Crapo in 1979  and made their home there. June passed away March 10, 2016.

Joe was a mechanic by trade his entire adult life. He loved gardening and always had large gardens that he would share with his neighbors. His passion was fishing. Joe would rather fish than eat. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 25, 2023 beginning  2:00 p.m.  at St. Johns United Methodist Church Hall, Kirwans Neck Road, Golden Hill.
