John Gullion

John L. Gullion, 60, of Easton, Maryland passed away peacefully on Thursday evening, July 16, 2020 at Compass Regional Hospice Center in Centreville.

Born on January 5, 1960 in Harford County, Maryland he was a son of the late William Gullion and Ruth Hannigan Gullion.

John made a living as a welder, construction, working the waters of the Choptank and being an all-around “Jack of all trades”.   He also enjoyed crabbing and fishing for pleasure, a cold beer whenever possible and cookouts with his family.  His favorite movies were action movies.

Surviving him is a daughter Amy Shelby and her husband James of Hurlock, MD; brothers Bill Gullion (Cindy) and Thomas Gullion (Cathy); sister Melissa”Missy”; a special niece Amanda Gullion; special nephews BJ and Keith Gullion  and several other nieces and nephews; the Abey family; his former wife Kathy Gullion and a friend of the family Linda Lowe.

Memorial contributions can be sent to Newcomb and Collins Funeral Home, P.A., 308 High Street, Cambridge, MD 21613 to help defray funeral cost.

Private services will be held at a later date.
