John "JD" Douglas Sapulos, Jr.

John “JD” Douglas Sapulos, Jr., 42, of Cambridge, Maryland passed away Sunday, July 21, 2024 in Vienna, Maryland.

Born in Cambridge on February 2, 1982, he is the son of Dianne Ellerbusch and the late John Douglas Sapulos, Sr.

JD was a hard worker and loved his place of employment at LWRC repairing guns. He enjoyed drone photography, shooting gun, playing guitar and was very handy at building things. JD was blessed to have his fur baby Ozzie, as his best friend. He will be sorely missed by his family and all who knew him.

Surviving him is his mother Dianne Ellerbusch; children Jazlyn Sapulos and Gavin Sapulos(Alexa); a very special friend Brittney Dickerson and her daughter Barley Webster; sister’s April Ellerbusch and Debbie Truitt; uncles John Ellerbusch, William Anderson and Carl Anderson; special nephew Lukas Ellerbusch; several nieces and nephews and his best friend Ozzie, his fur baby.

Preceding him in death besides his father was a sister Faith Cannon.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Newcomb and Collins Funeral Home, Cambridge beginning 12:00 with Pastor George Wheatley officiating. A viewing will be held an hour prior to the service.

Burial will be held at a later date at Spedden Seward Cemetery.
