Josephine Dean deLoiselle, age 52, of Cambridge, MD, died suddenly at her home on Tuesday, September 8, 2009.
Born on October 18, 1956 in Riverhead, Long Island, New York, she was the daughter of the late Ollie Edward Dean and Margaret Mary Butler.
Ms. deLoiselle attended the Chesapeake Community College and was a member of The Alpha Sigma Pi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society.
Josephine worked for the National Bank of Cambridge in the customer service department at the High Street branch.
Josephine was a follower of Christ. Her hobbies included reading, baking, sewing and relaxing particularly with a cup of tea. She was a true animal lover at heart.
Prior to living in Cambridge, she had resided at Hoopersville, MD, where she had worked at Dean Tyler Country Store.
Surviving is a son Sean deLoiselle of Secretary, MD; three daughters Beth Guerin and her husband Hans of Baltimore, MD, Erin Domke and her husband Lee of Alexandria, VA; Kate deLoiselle of Grantham, PA.; a sister Maureen Dean and a brother James Dean, both of South Hampton, NY; and her six pets Nova, Samantha, Licorice, Catalina, Mihos and Seymour; and her childrens cats which she considered her “grandkitties”. Preceding her in death besides her parents is a brother John Dean.
A Celebration of Life Service with Afternoon Tea will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15th at the Curran-Bromwell Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Please bring your favorite tea cup. Officiating at the service will be The Rev. Joseph Kelly. Burial will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Josephine’s wishes were to have a bright and vibrant celebration. To honor her wishes the family encourages those attending to wear bright colors or cheerful ties.
