Kenneth D. Fisher of Bridgeville, Delaware passed away peacefully, Friday morning, April 12, 2024 at his home with his good friends Robert and Jordan Brown by his bedside who cared for him and made his wish of ending his days at home possible.
Mr. Fisher was born in Uxbridge, England to the late George Fisher and Ellen Jane Chandler Fisher.
He attended the local schools and then went on to achieve his apprenticeship as a mechanic.
Ken decided to make a move in 1971 and left England. He found the state of Delaware and absolutely loved it. He would go back to visit family in England but Delaware was now his home.
He made a living traveling the highways as a truck driver for 40+ years.
Ken enjoyed old English trucks and cars, the older the better in his eyes. He also loved socializing with his friends at Jeff’s Taproom in Bridgeville.
Surviving Ken is his daughters Sue Smith (Andy) and Debbie Burnard (Mark) both of England; grandchildren Sam Smith, Ellie Smith, Charlene Wickes and Billy Burnard; sisters Jean Stevens and Margaret Oats.
At Ken’s request there will be no services.
