Kurt Glen Brown

It’s with great sadness that we announce that Kurt Glenn Brown, 60, passed away on November 4th, 2024 in Baltimore, MD. 

Son of Sandy Brown Dawson, he was born May 11, 1964 in North Carolina. He graduated from high school in West Chester, PA in 1982. Kurt has lived and worked on the Eastern Shore of Maryland for most of his life, largely spent in Cambridge, MD working at Portside Seafood Restaurant. 

He is survived by his daughter, Connor E Holt, his life partner Dana Allison, his step-daughter Alexa Allison, his sister Kimberly Graham as well as TJ, Gary, Jesse, Holly, Danielle and KC.

Kurt enjoyed cooking for his family, seeing live music with his partner and caring for his pets. 

We will be holding a celebration of life at Portside Seafood Restaurant on Saturday 11/09/24 from 1pm to 3pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to Hill Hounds Rescue & Animal Sanctuary in Denton, Maryland.
