Margaret L. Warfield, 93 of Cambridge, Maryland went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at her home. She was born on February 29, 1928 and was the daughter of the late Norman and Leona Warfield.
Margaret attended school in Hudson. She remained in Hudson for most of her life where she raised her five children. For over forty years she worked as a seamstress at various businesses including Rob Roy and Commander Garment. She enjoyed sewing and in her free time would make clothes and do alterations for friends and family.
Some of Margaret’s favorite activities were word search puzzles, watching the Orioles, and going on long car rides.
Family was very important to Margaret. She always looked forward to visits with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren.
Margaret is survived by her children Marion Bennett and husband Jerome, Darlene Schuyler and husband Butch, Dickie Warfield and wife Cindy, and Harold Warfield and wife Cathy; grandchildren Sheryl Mills (Jason), Chuckie Schuyler (Amy), Richard Schuyler Sr (Trina), Gene Warfield Jr (Krista), Stephanie Conn (John), and Richard Warfield Jr (Amy); great grandchildren Leann Mills, Marci, Madison, and Mia Schuyler, Chelsea Teagarden, Brittany Hood, Ashley Pete, Richard Craig Schuyler Jr, Jacob Conn, Carter and Leah Warfield, Alyssa, Malerie, and Trent Warfield, Michael, Matthew, and Brandon Brittingham; great great grandchildren Ava and Hudson Teagarden, and Paisley and Olivia Hood; siblings Rachel Cannon, Raymond, Alvin, and Paul Warfield.
Besides her parents, Margaret is preceded in death by daughter Doris Whitten and son in law Donald Whitten, grandchildren Jenni Brittingham and Katherine Warfield, siblings Blanche Sanger, Loretta Elzey, Leroy and Delmas Warfield.
Pallbearers will be Charles Warfield, Joey Warfield, Billy Cannon, Ricky Cannon, Paul Hines, and John Conn Sr.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Newcomb & Collins Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Pastor Steve Bloodsworth and Gary Stewart. Interment will follow at Spedden-Seward Cemetery. Family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Memorial contributions can be made to Coastal Hospice Foundation, P.O.
