Mary Ann Aaron

Mary Ann Aaron, 89, of Cambridge, Maryland passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023 at Mallard Bay Care Center.

Born in Bucktown, Maryland on December 11, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Rex W. Neal and Nellie Willey Neal.

Mary Ann attended the local schools in Dorchester County and graduated from Cambridge High School with the class of 1952.

She married Raymond Aaron and they resided in Dorchester County. Together they raised their daughter Pam.   Raymond died in December 2018.

She worked at the Eastern Shore State Hospital for 30 years as a clerical secretary.

Mary Ann found great enjoyment in shopping, cooking and having a close relationship with her neighbors.   She always wanted to be the first one to accomplish a beautiful suntan in the summer months.  Mary Ann was a very giving lady and was there for her family when they were in need.  She took care of her sister when she became ill and never regretted a minute of it. She had a special cat named “Paws” who she dearly loved. 

Mary Ann is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death besides her parents and husband was her daughter Pam Wingate; siblings Virginia Webster, Rex Neal, Jr., Delma Wroten, Jean Cannon and Vernon Neal.

Per Mary Ann’s wishes there will be no services.
