Mary E. Habermann, 64, of Fishing Creek, MD entered into eternal rest on February 15, 2015 at her home after a valiant struggle with cancer.
Born September 14, 1950, she was the daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Martin of Philadelphia, PA.
After graduating from Hallihan High School she attended Salem Community College graduating in 1977 as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
In 1983 Mary married Joseph Habermann. She also attended Orange County Community College and graduated with an A.S. in nursing in 2001. Mary then worked as a nurse educator in addition to her other nursing roles.
Surviving is her husband Joseph of Fishing Creek; daughter Noreen Latimer and husband Matt of Washingtonville, N.Y.; son Joseph A. Habermann and wife Alania of Church Creek, MD ; and several nephews and nieces.
Her brother Charles Martin predeceased her.
A mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, February 20, 2015 beginning 12:00 noon at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church, Golden Hill with Celebrant Fr. William Lawler.
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Mary can be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 163, Salisbury, MD 21803.
