Meta M. Mills departed this life on Monday, May 24, 2010 at her home in Easton, MD.
Born July 3, 1928 in Cambridge, MD, she was the daughter of the late Jamie P. and Cora L. Mills.
Surviving are two sisters Frances M. Twilley and Marian M. Doty, both of Cambridge, MD; a brother Jamie P. Mills, Jr. of Cambridge, MD; nieces; nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews.
Preceding her in death besides her parents were three sisters Virginia M. Edwards, Katherine M. Towers and Betty J. Yowell; and a brother Sydney G. Mills.
A committal service led by The Rev. Mary Ann Farnell, cousin of the deceased, will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery, Hurlock, MD.
In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to one’s favorite charity.
Arrangements are being handled by Curran-Bromwell Funeral Home, P.A.
