MILDRED PRITCHETT

Mildred Catherine Pritchett, age 92, of Wingate, MD, died Saturday evening, February 16, 2008 at Dorchester General Hospital.

Born on May 17, 1915 at Crocheron, Dorchester County, MD, she was the daughter of the late James Thomas Todd and Pencie C. Bramble Todd.

On September 19, 1934 she married James Hobart Pritchett. He died September 20, 1960.

Mrs. Pritchett was a member of Wingate United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Pritchett had worked for I.F. Cannon & Son for most of her life.

Mrs. Pritchett enjoyed crocheting, working and yard work.

Surviving is her daughter Doris E. Windsor and her husband William “Snooks” Windsor; a son Calvin L. Pritchett, all of Wingate, MD, a step-daughter Mildred Phippins of Salisbury, MD; three grandchildren Billy Windsor and his wife Karen of Hurlock, MD, Cindy Cannon and her husband John of Cambridge, MD, Vicky Simmons and her husband Randy also of Cambridge, MD; six great-grandchildren Jonathan Cannon, Joshua Cannon, Jacob Simmons, Ryan Windsor, Megan Neal and Jason Neal; several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death besides her parents and husband was a sister Pearl Murphy and three brothers Otis Todd, Thomas Todd and Milford Todd.

The family will receive friends Monday evening, February 18th from 7 to 9 p.m. at Curran-Bromwell Funeral Home, P.A. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 19th at 2 p.m. Officiating at the service will be The Rev. Mary Ann Farnell and assisted by The Rev. Richard K. Prahl. Burial will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Doug Abbott, John Cannon, Randy Simmons, Lowell Pritchett, Donnie Simmons and Jason Neal.
