Pasqual B. DeCarlo, Jr., 49, parted this life on Earth to begin his ultimate journey in Heaven. He drew his last breath and went peacefully surrounded by his family and friends.
Pat, as he was known to everyone, was born in Wilmington, Delaware on December 3, 1965 to Pasqual DeCarlo Sr and Dorothy (Adkins) DeCarlo. He graduated in 1983 from Sussex Central High School. He was active in the Civil Air Patrol as a young man. Pat had been a truck driver and mechanic his entire adult life and was employed at S. Coraluzzo, Inc as a Shop Foreman.
Developing a love for hunting as a young boy, Pat never missed a chance to go out with his bow or gun, sharing this as a young boy and man with his dad and then passing the tradition on with his favorite hunting partner, his daughter Abbey. There was never a more proud moment then the evening Abbey shot her first deer.
An avid history buff, Pat discovered the world of Skirmish shooting and became a member of the North- South Skirmish Association and was on the Delaware Blues and earned several medals.
On September 5th, 1998, Pat married the former Christine Roe and together they have a 15 year old daughter, Abigail, who was his pride and joy and his Sunshine.
Besides his wife and daughter, Pat is survived by his father, Pasqual DeCarlo, Sr. and his fiance Yvonne Shanks; sisters Rebecca Wilcutts ( Nolan) and Victoria Laub (Steve); brother Gregory Vaughn (Julie); nephews Christopher DeCarlo and his daughter Kailynn, Adam Vaughn, Brandon Vaughn and Wesley Laub; goddaughter/niece Courtney Hedrick and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother Dorothy, his uncle Lenny and a child that was miscarried in 2000. Pat also leaves behind many friends including those who were like brothers to him, Butch Tucker, Brian Delamater and Marv Bendy, Jr. and the one he called Dad 2 Scott Delamater Sr.
Pat was a member of Grace Baptist Church where he thoroughly enjoyed the Men’s Bible Study class.

I Love You Dad
I love you Dad with all my heart
And hate that we should be apart
Our love is a bond that can't be broken
You may be gone, but never forgotten
I remember the day you went away
The pain in my heart is every beat
But I know that eventually, one day
We will, once again meet
The loss is something I can't describe
I'm really going to miss you
One day I'll be back by your side
So I can hug and kiss you
There are no words to tell you,
Just what I'm feeling inside
The shock, the hurt, the anger
One day, will gradually subside
Things will never again be the same
And though I'm hurting quite bad
I will smile whenever I hear your name
And be so proud to remember my Dad
Sleep well darling Dad, forever in my heart and my thoughts
