Patricia Ann Macindoe, age 66, of Trappe, MD, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 18, 2008 at her daughter’s home in East New Market, MD surrounded by her loving family.
Born on February 26, 1942 in Cambridge, MD, she was the daughter of Lula Elizabeth Phillips Mills of Cambridge, MD and the late Thomas Herbert Mills.
Pat, as she was known, was a graduate of Cambridge High School, Class of 1960.
Her working career began at Cambridge Wire Cloth and then she worked as a legal secretary for E. Thomas Merryweather, Attorney of Cambridge, Campen & Wallsworth Law Office, Easton, MD and for over ten years she worked for Mitchell Cornwell Attorney in Easton, MD.
Pat liked shopping, jewelry, cats and playing the piano.
Surviving besides her mother is her husband of four years Robert John “Bob” Macindoe of Trappe, MD; two daughters Jacqueline M. Conn and her husband The Rev. M. Scott Conn of Greenwood, DE, Tammy Manley Rue and her husband Greg “Smitty” Rue of East New Market, MD; a brother Ronnie Mills of Stevensville, MD, seven grandchildren Irene Whaley and her husband Chris of Laurel, DE, Jessica Conn, Dianna Conn and Sarah Conn, all of Greenwood, DE, Brandon Manley of Cambridge, MD, Jenna Rue and Carley Rue, both of East New Market, MD and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Sunnyside Alliance Church, Secretary, MD on Thursday, May 22nd at 1:00 p.m., where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Oxford Cemetery, Oxford, MD.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Manley, Chris Whaley, Colin Macindoe, Doug Foxwell, Greg “Smitty” Rue and Ronnie Mills.
Honorary pallbearer will be Mitchell Cornwell.
