Rita Lynch

Rita Frances Lynch, 92, of Cambridge, MD., died on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Chesapeake Woods Center, Cambridge.
Born September 19, 1921 in Baltimore, MD., she was the daughter of the late John and Sophia Wawrzniak Kurcap.
Mrs. Lynch was the wife of the late Victor Frank Lynch who died in 1992.
She had been employed 10 years by Western Publishing in the shipping department.
Rita was a communicant of St. Mary, Refuge of Sinners Catholic Church, Cambridge, MD. She was also a member of Memorial V.F.W. Post #5118, Easton, MD., Dorchester General Hospital Auxiliary and the Dorchester Unit #91 American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving is her daughter Judith Ann Holliday and son-in-law Lamont; grandson Stephen Mark Mullikin; sister Regina A. Kurcap all of Cambridge, MD., and a special friend Doris Abbott.
A funeral service will be held at the Maryland Eastern Shore Veterans Chapel, Hurlock, MD on Thursday, June 19, 2014 beginning 1 p.m. with Pastor Dave Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in the cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Lamont Holliday, Stephen M. Mullikin, Andrew Holliday, Jimmy Mitchell, Marty Jones and Randy White.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mrs. Lynch’s name can be sent to Quota International of Cambridge, P.O. Box 1236, Cambridge, MD 21613.
