Sharon Kathryn Childs

Sharon K. Childs, 76, of Cambridge, Maryland, formerly of Manchester, NH passed away on Monday, April 17, 2023 at University of Maryland Medical Center in Easton.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland on March 21, 1947, she was a daughter of the late William Wilson and Jeanne Miller Wilson.  Sharon and her siblings grew up in Scranton, Maryland.

Sharon attended the local schools and graduated from Snow Hill High School with the class of 1965.

On August 7, 2002, Sharon married Dennis Wayne Childs.  They moved to the Eastern Shore 12 yrs. ago and made their home in Cambridge.

She worked as an accountant for New England Courier Service for many years. She also worked for Moore Business Forms for 40 years in Snow Hill and Manchester NH.

Sharon was a member of the Elks Lodge #146 in Manchester and the American Legion in Pocomoke and Cambridge Post #91.

Sharon was an avid reader. She loved working on her computer and watching T.V.

She enjoyed going to the casinos and would get very excited when she would hit the jackpot.  Anyone who knew Sharon would call her a pack rat, she loved to collect things.  She will be dearly missed by her husband and her entire family.

Surviving Sharon is her husband Dennis; her twin sister Karen Timmons (Charles F.), sister Joyce Watson and four nephews. Bonus children Gretchen and Alan Gagnon of Port Orange, FL, Aaron and Tiffany Childs of Marlborough, MA; sister-in-law Janice Kittredge of Auburn, NH; brother-in-law and sister-in-law George and Sandy Childs of Killeen, TX.

Preceding her in death besides her parents was a sister Linda Carrodo and one nephew.

There will be no services at this time.
