Stanley Wayne Taylor, 81, of Woolford, Maryland passed away on Monday, October 5, 2020 at UMSMC@Dorchester.

Born in Easton, Maryland on May 30, 1939, he was a son of the late George Samuel and Laura Chance Taylor.

Stanley attended the local schools in Easton and graduated from Easton High School.  He then joined the U.S. Army and served his country.

On September 24, 1981 he married the former Beverly Bradley.

Stanley owned and operated an electric, heat and air business known as SW Taylor Inc. for many years.

He was a member of the U.S. Trotting Association, American Legion, VFW, Elks and past president of the Eastside Men’s Club.

His favorite pastime was fishing, hunting and tending to his dogs Aleisha and Rosie.

Surviving him besides his wife Beverly are children Karen Dovi, Kevin Farlow and Bryan Farlow; sister, Sally Barnes and her husband Paul of Rhodesdale, MD; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Preceded in his death is a sister Frances (Tig) Tarbutton; brothers George M. Taylor and Norris Taylor.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 19, 2020 beginning 10:00 a.m. at the Maryland Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery Chapel in Hurlock with military honors.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Stanley’s name can be sent to Coastal Hospice Foundation, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802.

Social distancing and face covering will be required.
