STEWART W. DIFFENDERFER

Steward William Diffenderfer, age 91, of Easton, MD, died Saturday, July 19, 2008 at Talbot Hospice House, Easton, MD.

Born in Waynesboro, PA, Mr. Diffenderfer moved to Baltimore, MD, where he and his late wife Dorothy raised their daughter Ann.

Mr. Diffenderfer was a life member of the Middle River Volunteer Fire Company for over fifty years, where he held various ranks and chaired committees.

He was a Middle River resident for fifty seven years prior to moving to Easton, MD so that he could be closer to his family.

Mr. Diffenderfer greatly liked fishing and camping. His family will continue to celebrate his memory and his love of the outdoors.

Surviving is his daughter Ann Trumbull and her husband Russell “Butch”; five grandchildren Nathan, Sheri, Ted, Tammy, Timmy and their spouses; and fifteen great-grandchildren.

A family memorial will be held at Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro, PA.
