Suzanne Marie Bloodsworth, 66, of Hurlock, Maryland passed away Tuesday morning, July 18, 2017 at UMSMC@Dorchester.
Born on November 1, 1950 in Cambridge, Maryland she was a daughter of Frances Holliday Bloodsworth and the late William Alton Bloodsworth, Sr.
She attended the local schools and graduated from Cambridge High School with the Class of 1968.
Suzanne attended Open Bible Church as much as she could and enjoyed talking to everyone she knew. She was known to be a talker and a people person.
She owned and operated a Care Home and enjoyed every minute of taking care of the elderly and the mentally challenged. She loved everything and anything that had to deal with the nursing field. She had also worked at the Arcade Pharmacy and Crossroads.
Suzanne’s favorite past time was shopping on QVC. She would tell her family how QVC products were the best you could buy.
Her family held a special place in her heart, especially her grandchildren whom she dearly loved. Suzanne will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Surviving her besides her mother Frances are children Valerie Windsor Phillips(Rusty) of Hurlock, Billie Sue Windsor of Hurlock, Michael Windsor (Mary) of Easton and Jennifer Windsor Ruark (Luther “Luke” Jr.) of Hurlock; grandchildren Lauren (Olivia) Brake, Zachary Phillips, Grace Phillips, Kristin Parks, Megan Parks Travis, Kevin Parks, Michael Windsor, Jr.,Samantha Windsor, Jared Ruark and Chase Ruark; great grandchildren Bentley Ruark, Carson Brake, Kinsley Brake, Leilah Parks, Connor Travis and Emma Travis; brothers David Bloodsworth, Steve Bloodsworth (Vickie); a sister Cindy Bloodsworth Cannon(Dave); several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death besides her father was a sister Carol Bloodsworth and a brother William Alton Bloodsworth, Jr.
A memorial service will be held on Friday evening, July 21, 2017 beginning 6 p.m. at Open Bible Church, 1619 Race St., Cambridge, MD with Rev. Steve Bloodsworth officiating.
