V. Carol Bramble-Elzey, 59, of Federalsburg passed away peacefully Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake, Salisbury. Her loving husband and daughters never left her side.
Born December 31, 1956 in Easton she was a daughter of the late Gladys Parks Bradley and Calvin Florin Bradley.

Fondly known as “Big Momma”, she enjoyed cooking and canning. Annually she would can fresh string beans, beets, kale and other vegetables. Many would enjoy her special apple sauce. A favorite past time was reading cook books but any book would do. Carol also enjoyed fishing. Family and special friends would jokingly call her “Poke” because of her love of the wild berries.
In earlier years she had attended the Park Lane Church.
On April 25, 2007 she married Samuel Elzey. Carol considered herself very blessed to have such a devoted loving husband who helped her through all the tough times as her health declined.
