William Huether

William “Bill” F. Huether, 62, of Cambridge, Maryland passed away on Tuesday morning, January 17, 2017 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury.

Born on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 1954 in New York, he was a son of William and Mae Claire Benson Huether.

After graduating from high school, Bill went to work on the water with his family.

When Bill was not out on the boat working, you could find him making repairs on his and other boats. He had a love for building equipment and was very good at it.

Bill’s family was very important to him. Every year on Valentine’s Day they would have a big party for him to celebrate not only Valentine’s Day but Bill’s birthday. He truly loved them and he will be missed by all.

Surviving him besides his parents is his companion Teresa Elzey; his siblings Jean DeMatteo of Seaford, DE, Robert Huether and wife Christine of Selden, NY, Richard Huether of Cambridge, MD, Susan Huether of Cambridge, MD and MaryAnn Cowan and husband Michael of Hartly, DE; a niece Jennifer Huether; two nephews Billy and Bobby Huether.
